Baptism of the "Fahrtziel Natur" locomotive II

At the end of July, the second "Fahrtziel Nature" locomotive was presented at Munich Main Station, which, just like its predecessor, impresses with its beautiful design. One side of the 101 039-6 is adorned with the Swiss National Park with its impressive alpine landscape. The other side shows a motif of the nature protection area "Allgäuer Hochalpen", an area that received the "Fahrtziel Natur" Award in 2023.

The locomotives of the class 101 will continue to play an important role for Intercity traffic in Germany and into neighbouring countries for years to come. Like its sister locomotive, this new "Fahrtziel Natur" locomotive spreads the message of climate-friendly and car-free tourism.

The Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder was present at the naming ceremony, and a first sample of the ROCO model was presented to him.

The model will be exclusively available from ROCO (Art. No.: 7500067, 7510067, 7520067) this autumn as a unique edition and will be the perfect addition to the first version of the "Fahrtziel Natur" series.

You can look forward to this extraordinary gem for your collection, which will also convince you with its detailed printing, as is usual with ROCO models. High tractive force and perfect running characteristics are also part of the features, of course.
