On rails – the destination Natur Lok
For a few days the electric locomotive 101 019 of the DB AG has been on the road in a special design!

In the cooperative project entitled “Fahrtziel Natur” (Destination Nature), the major German environmental organisations BUND, NABU, VCD and the Deutsche Bahn, together with national parks, nature parks and biosphere reserves within Germany, Austria and Switzerland are displaying their commitment to climate-friendly, car-free tourism.

All of these regions can be traveled and discovered in a particularly environmentally friendly way by train. Reason enough for ROCO to support this unique cooperation. The Saxon Switzerland National Park in Germany and the Hohe Tauern National Park (Carinthia) in Austria were selected as partners for the special locomotive. 

The motifs show the impressive landscape of the respective region and make you want to discover it! The special model (item no.: 7500021, 7510021, 7520021) of the Fahrtziel Natur (destination nature) locomotive will be available exclusively from ROCO from autumn 2023.
