Pre-series model: DB diesel locomotive class 211
Pre-series model: DB diesel locomotive class 211
The class V 100.10 was - after testing of pre-series machines - procured in series from 1961/62. It was used in mixed branch line service on non-electrified lines and in light service on main lines. With an output of 810 kW, it was approved for 110 km/h. In 1968, the machines were re-designated as class 211.
The V100 diesel locomotive family has a long history in the FLEISCHMANN range. Reason enough to commemorate this classic in N gauge (item no.: 721210, 721280) with a completely new design. The first models were recently assembled as part of the pre-series and are now being extensively tested.
On our photos we present you the first models! Even at first glance you can see the design language of today. This includes, above all, the fine engravings. Partly separately attached handle bars and other plug-in parts round off the successful model. Also the bogies know how to impress with their attention to detail. As is usual with current new designs from FLEISCHMANN, the buffer beam can be completely retrofitted.
You can already look forward to this special model that will be available in stores from autumn. Please note that the model in the photos is a pre-series sample and not all parts in the molds are already correctly matched.
